Like many Australians, our founder Kathrine loved the idea of exploring the country in a caravan or motorhome, but recognised the challenges that come with ownership. The upfront purchase price, storage requirements, maintenance, insurance, registration, and depreciation can place the caravanning lifestyle out of reach for many families and travellers.
At the same time, traditional rentals often come with their own frustrations — limited availability during peak holiday periods, rising costs, and the uncertainty of securing the dates you really want. That's where the idea for Timeshare Escapes was born.
You'll often hear us referred to simply as TSE. Australians love shortening names, and before long we're hoping our members will just say, "We're TSE members."
Why I Started Timeshare Escapes
Hi, I'm Kathrine.
Like many Australians, I loved the idea of owning a caravan or motorhome—but I didn't love the huge costs of ownership, maintenance and storage. I knew there had to be a better way.
